The Icefall and Icepool

The Icefall is a frozen waterfall that comes from somewhere up the mountain. Once, when the Snowstar Mountain was young and warm, a river flowed down it and spilled off of the mountain from a cliff that it led to. When the mountain became freezing, the waterfall froze into solid ice, and that is how it has been for the last four-hundred years. Beneath the waterfall, there is a large and deep pool of water that is also frozen. It is called the Icepool. The Icepool leads into a river that goes toward the Fenrai Pack camp, also frozen, but a ways down the water runs freely. Canines often come here either to relax in the small cave behind the waterfall, or have fun and slide over the ice.
