The Underground Dens As on the Snostar Mountain, here there are many underground dens and passageways inside of the mountain, though they are not always used if the weather is nice. The passages are not very large, only big enough for an average sized canine to crouch and walk through. The dens that the tunnels lead to vary in size, the largest being able to fit the entire group that lives on the mountain. This den is used for meetings, and has a small passage from it leading directly to the surface. The passages and dens are made mostly from rock, but sometimes something else. Small rodents live here, though not many, and are the source of prey. |

The Basin The Basin is the very top of the Fayran Mountain, a huge, deep scoop in the mountain. It has been many years since the volcano was last active, and it appears to be dormant now. The basin is overgrown with thick coniferous forest, most likely kept alive by the small bit of warmth that the walls of the basin provides. There is much prey in the basin, including elk and hares. It is a good hunting ground; and this is where the group that lives here lives in the spring, summer and early Fall, when it is warmer. |
