The Desert Island This is the first and smallest island, a small desert with almost no sources of food and fresh water. There is a small, active volcano in the center of the island, which is best to avoid. |

The Thin Forest Island This small island is desert-like, as the first one is, but with more scrawny trees and no active volcanoes. There are a few dormant volcanoes, and many accessable lava caves. There is a bit more prey here, made up of mostly small water creatures and the occasional unwary bird or rabbit. |

The Forest Islands This is a strip of three small islands, each covered all-year-round in dense evergreen forest. The islands are a bit larger than the desert island and the thin forest island, but not by much. Here there is shade and shelter, though not much fresh water. The fresh water sources here are small, rain formed ponds and lakes. Sometimes there are floods here, caused by huge title-waves. If that happens it will be mentioned in the current events board. The main prey here is rabbits, other rodents, and the occasional seagull or seal. These three islands are close together, with only about twenty feet of neck-high water between them. The distance between the northmost island in this trio and the desert and thin-forest islands is longer, maybe fifty or more feet of medium depth water. |
