The Ranks:
- Dragga & Drappa/Alpha & Alphess - The two leaders of a group, the Dragga being male and the Drappa female of a pack, and the Alpha being male and the Alphess female in a Drakka Clan.
- The Betas - The two or three co-heads of a group, turned to first for advice and asked to lead hunts and take command of the group while the leaders are gone. The strongest take the place of the leaders if the retire or die, unless challenged for rank.
- T'shalla - The more respected non-leader members of the group, usually first picked for hunts and patrols, mostly selected out of the stronger and faster wolves.
- Saar - The middle ranking canines, treated with less respect and asked to pup-sit and chosen as backups in many things. There is more of a variety of canines in this rank-group, from older wolves who are weaker than the rest, to canines just out of puppyhood have not yet challenged for a higher rank or been given one.
- Daiban - These are the least respected members of a group, the ones who are untrusted or have only just joined the group and must earn their place. They are practically slaves to the canines who rank above them, though most leaders will not permit horrible treatment of them.
- Pup - These are, as the rank name clearly states, the puppies of the group. There is an age range of newborn to seven months old. The pups must be treated with kindness and caring, though they must also not be let to disobey orders very badly. They're brought meat which is regurgitated and given to them. (Pup characters can begin to be roleplayed when they are three months old.)
- Loner - These are canines without a group, and their personalities vary endlessly. These are the canines who can do what they wish, and any canine could be a Loner. Although, the true power of the wolf is in the pack, and the power of the pack is in the wolf. Loners have no pack, and must be strong, clever, or both to survive the wilderness alone or with only one's mate.
