A guide to the groups
- Feral Packs
Feral Packs are groups of canines who live untamed. The feral packs are a bit more trusting than the domestic packs, for the depend a lot on each other to survive. Weak canines will not find it easy to live with a feral pack, for there are many harsh experiences that can occur where a canine's brute strength is his/her most powerful weapon. Canines who live in these packs must hunt for themselves, and make their own decisions. In these packs, canines move up in rank if the one above them dies, disappears, on seems weak enough to issue a rank challenge to. The feral packs all live under one pack, the elite pack, as it is called. - Domestic Packs
These are packs of tamed canines, mostly dogs. They live tamed, meeting with their pack only when their masters let them out to hunt wolves and have a bit of freedom. They are ranked in a similar fashion as the feral packs, as the dogs often get killed by feral canines when they are hunting them, and also a dog leaves a pack if their master(s) have died, for it is considered to have a stray dog in the pack's midst. These packs are not very trusting, because they don't depend on each other for survival, but they all go by the alphas' rules. Hardly any mutts or tiny dogs are let into these packs, because they are not the best hunters, and it makes the pack look silly, or so think most dogs. The packs consist mostly of purebred hunting dogs, for that is pretty much all the packs do with each other. They do not have to hunt for themselves, and they usually strictly obey their master(s). - Drakka Clans
Drakka Clans are rebels. These groups are widely varying in size, strength, and everything else. Some are untrusting, and some trust each other with their very lives. Some consist of only about six wolves and some over thirty. They defy the rule of the elite pack, and they shed the name of 'pack' and add 'clan' instead, so that they are no longer under the rule or protection of the elite pack. Depending on the clan's lethality and ethical alignment, they are either hunted, or left to fend for themselves. The leader(s) also shed the name of Drappa and Dragga, and revert instead to Alpha And Alphess. Who gets let into a clan depends on the alphas requirements, and so does how canines move up in rank. They hunt for themselves, and make their own decisions. There is sometimes more mutiny in drakka clans than in other groups, depending on the members.
